Ms. Strickland has always strived to promote educational literacy. In 1995, she began her advocacy for youth literacy as the owner of Cee Cee's Personalized Gifts. Like Read About Me!, her mission is to provide fun and educational tools to promote literacy. In 2006,  Ms. Strickland founded Cee & Learn to expand her ability to reach more people in more places and added the financial literacy element to her organization.  Cee & Learn reaches hundreds of inner-city youth, educating, mentoring, and providing them with the necessary tools of survival in today's society. Cee & Learn's mission is to make a difference by eradicating financial and educational illiteracy one child at a time. Cee & Learn specializes in youth, teen and young adult literacy, financial education, and self-awareness.  The organization sponsors financial literacy and cash flow seminars.  Cee & Learn offers private and group teen and adult budgeting sessions at churches, schools, and other venues. Partners of Cee & Learn assist with job preparation, business etiquette, and mentoring. Cee & Learn provides affordable healthy food choice mini-workshops for low-income mothers.
